The Savannah Cat and it's whopping price tag.?

Has the Savannah breed existed long enough to bring that price down. Come on guys..... are breeders just cashing in on the wow factor, found a way to make 60,000usd in a year sitting at home? I can understand keeping the breed true, and not letting it turn into a barn cat or neglectful owners kitting them out the door, but to sell the breed for 15,000 usd. I think that's a little over the top!!!! How can I find a Savannah under 6,000 usd
