Why are Republicans winning the budget debate?

Recent polling shows that Americans think we have a spending problem, not a taxing problem, and that Republicans are the party they trust to deal with that problem. A USA Today/Gallup poll released this week shows that Americans trust Republicans over Democrats on the deficit issue by a whopping 12-point margin (48 to 36 percent). That margin is made possible in large part because independents trust Republicans over Democrats by a margin of 17 points (47 to 30 percent).

Can you apply for colleges AFTER you graduate?

You really aren't going to have much of a choice here; applications for 4-year schools are due in the fall and early spring, so you can't do anything to your GPA that will make them consider you. Raise it as far as you can and plan to start at community college. Keep in mind your GPA in high school is failing by college standards, and college classes, even community colleges, are a lot harder than high school. It's really too late to fix this at the last minute.
