What's the best way to go with an ocarina?

I want to get a Zelda style ocarina, preferably one that looks like the ocarina of time (noduh). I know it should be ceramic or wood because anything else has horrible sound quality. But the only one I've found on Ebay is $40 and only has 6 holes, which takes away the ocarina of time look. I also saw an awesome one that looked exactly like the OoT, but it cost a whopping $400! So I'd like one around $30 that looks more like the OoT; mostly painted holes is probably what I'd want, just to make it easier to play. What's the best site to get it from?

My XBL connection sucks?

I cant connect to the router in my house, for some reason my connection has been terrible lately. I have an open NAT, but I lag like crap and always get disconnected from XBL. I have 0 bars at times, if it can even find the router..how can I fix this?? This is just now starting to happen btw, it was never really a problem before we moved.

Fog Light in place of headlight?

Okay, please tell me which I should get. Should I get a D-link DIR-655 Extreme N Gigabit router or a D-link DGL-4500 Xtreme N Selectable Dual Band Draft 802.11n Gaming Router? Do I have depression?

Hi. I am 20 and female. At the beginning of April, I hit a big depression. It came out of nowhere. It lasted about a week and was terrible. I was very sad and couldn't eat hardly anything. I lost some weight. I've came out of that deep depression. But since then I havent felt the same as I did before it hit me. I feel like a different person. Life feels different. I sleep way too much and still manage to feel tired throughout the day. Things that should make me happy and are enjoyable don't/aren't. I don't do anything I used to do. I don't hang out with my friends anymore. It feels like there's a fog over my brain. It's literally hard for me to think and concentrate and learn new things (like at work). Headlights dim, not assembly?

headlight assemblies are all good. I have a 1987 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe. New bulbs as well. Looked at the wire gauges and my fog light wires are thicker than my headlight wires, possibility? The bulb connection looks clean, no dirt, I'm not sure if it could be bad anyways? Checked battery output which is normal with car on, off and with my headlights on so I'm assuming battery and alternator are fine. My husband and I are in a huge delima. We are currently living in a $800 a month nice size, one bedroom apartment. Unfortunately, we are down to one car. I have to wake up at 4:30am M-F to take my husband to his job (the drive is very long). Then, I have to take myself to work hours later in a completely different city. I reset the router, and can browse the web but its unsecure, I need to secure it. After putting 192.168.1.1 then the admin box pops up. I put admin defaut passwords, it doesnt accept it. I also then put a different password I made. It doesnt accept any password. Before I changed the admin password to a diferrent one, it use to work. Could it be a virus? How can I prevent my swimming goggles from fogging up?

I'm not a serious swimmer, but I get annoyed when I swim and my goggles fog up. I usually just dip my goggles in the water and that fixes it for about 5 minutes, but then while I'm having fun, i have to pause, take my goggles off, then dip'em in the water. Mercedes "Check Engine" light came on:(. Help!?

i have the n8 and love it. Im with 3 tho, same cap, but i advise u to add more data, 200mb is nothing with these phones. How the map thing works is true, once u download a map its saved in ur phone, but like i said, up ur data coz maps eat alot of mb up. I actually prefer using google maps, but each to their own. The camera is fantastic, thats the main reason i got mine, but overall its the best phone ive ever used in every way. Just my 2 cents lol...

What should I accomplish first for weight loss, quit: smoking or eating fast food?

I am a smoker also trying to quit. I also am on a diet trying to lose as much weight as possible the healthiest way possible.I also like junk food. So, I suggest you quit the junk food asap first. That's what I did. You will pack on a few pounds just from indulging. I'm pretty sure you know that. Quitting smoking should be slower, you should really worry about yor health and fully understand why you need to quit. Slowly work your way their. If your smoking 5 times a day, automatically cut down to three. And stick to that for a few weeks. I'm down to about 2-4 cigs a day and I feel much better. I can handle a good workout much easier. Breath better at night. Walk up the stairs without the feeling of being choked to death. So yes you should keep cutting down your cigarettes. And if your like me, when you can't smoke you eat, then munch on the healthy stuff. Fruits are the best. Think of how young you are. Do you wanna age horribly due to smokin and eatink junk? IT WILL affect the way you age, think of your skin, your health. Your will power. Your stronget than that. You can do it.

First, you need to get your metabolism up. The easiest way to do that is start small, as you want and if you have to just do sit-ups for five minutes a day for a week straight! Make time!! Its better, if you do it right before you go to bed. At the same time, the way i have helped a couple of my lady friends, you can eat what you want, just watch how "much" you consume! The approach you want to take is to turn the fat into fuel for muscles, so during the second week you want to increase you sit-ups to 10 minutes and try to twist your body slightly as you do. It would take me like "like" forever give you a whole program to do, but that is a start. But most important..... DON'T let your medical issues, be an excuse to be unhealthy! I too have health issues, but it doesn't mean i have to let myself go or down myself! Don't go out and buy a bunch of health books either, just get some information on getting healthier and someone to help support you, i'm sure you be alright, good luck and take care!!

HELP!2 Month Old has 15 plus diapers a day?

My now two month old son goes through 15-20 diapers a day!it has lowly gotten to be more and more each week he grows. Now he has only one or two poos a day, healthy looking formula fed poops. but every time he even barely tinkles in his nappy he demands to be changed. Wii Console Wont Update, Error?

I Connect it to a wireless router and is a bout 3 meters away from it and I bought this game last week, Zumba fitness and it told me that it needs to be updated to play it. So i pressed it, ok, ok yes, update and all that. Then it stops about a 1cm INTO updating. Then it says 'failed to update.' I went to my doctor and he just gave me a anxiety med which makes me more miserable and tired.I also got tested for everything under the sun like lupus,thyroid,diabetes,vitamin deficency ect. I also got a stress test and echocardiogram and halter monitor but that was over 2 years ago.I am only 22 Dont drink and Dont smoke!! I have high cholesterol and high triglycerides but the doctors just told me to take fish oil which has improved my number and I had Vit.D deficency but I took a supplement for 8 weeks and my numbers are normal.I am not depressed but not being able to live a normal life is making my feel down and is stressing me out and causing a bit of anxiety/panic.I also worry too mucha nd I am a bit of a hypocondriac from it all.I also get tons of pressure/tension headaches.I been to a few different doctors and a few different hospitals and I cant seem to get a answers...............PLEASE DONT SAY GO TO THE DOCTOR BECAUSE I BEEN THERE DONE THAT I AM JUST TRYING TO SEE IF ANYONE HAS ANYTHING SIMILAR???

hello, just bought netflix for my home, have it hooked to the ps3 in living room, i need to hook it up to the 3 sony blu-ray player in the bedrooms so me and my kids can use the netflix in bed, blu-ray player model # is BDP-N460 they don't have wi-fi built in, so i bought 1 cisco linksys wet610n wireless bridge to start on one of them. need to connect it to my 2wire AT&T router that runs my whole house with no problems (2wire model # is 2701HG-B). I install the disc that the wet610n came with, (followed steps the the letter) it 1.)configured the wireless bridge, 2.)verified the settings, next says GO WIRELESS, so it finds my network, i put in the WEP 10 number security key, again configured bridge, verifying settings and it stops and says "ERROR 109: your device cannot be found using a wireless connection" now i have unpluged both 2wire and wet610n and tried again, same thing, called both at&t and linksys (over 3hrs between both) linksys had me call at&t back to change the channel on my route to "9", still not working, IP address on linksys is 192.168.1.71 and IP on 2wire is 192.168.1.254 i've looked into the ip for 2wire and it shows wet610n on my network, still doesnt work wirelessly. at this point i'm just short of returning the linksys? will this ever work? is it possible? what am i missing? plz help with step by step so i don't mess up any instructions! thanks again just don't wanna sit all day on phone and not getting anywhere! thx again for any help! My iPod touch won't connect to my Wi-Fi?

I have the iPod touch before the most recent one. Not even sure which gen it is. I've had it for ages and it worked great with my wi-fi all around my house. I came home one day and it didn't connect so I used the password for my router and it says it's connected. But there's not even the symbol in the left corner showing there's a connection and it's just not working. There's nothing wrong with my router since my internet on my phone, two household computers and two laptops is working fine!

I'm not sure if I am understanding this correctly. Is your brother connected directly to the wireless router and if so why? The router should be connected to the modem which brings the internet into the house and then each computer should be connected via wireless to the wi-fi router. The only way he could disconnect you would be if he has software on his laptop that came with the router and he is blocking you somehow. If you can, get the disk that came with the router and load the software on to your laptop. Then change the password so he can't block you.

My friend gave me a router because I need a new one. Its a linsys WRT55AG. I connect it to my modem. In the back theres 4 ports and an internet port. When I put the ethernet cable for the internet in the internet port, I get a yellow internet icon and am not connected to it. When I put the ethernet cable in any of the 4 ports, the internet works. I only have another cable which connects to my other computer which is also in 1 of the 4 ports. The computers are in the same network and I can access each other, but my other computer doesn't receive internet. If I put the calbe in the internet port, the network doesn't even detect the second computer. Is the router broken? I can't connect to 192.168.1.1 while connect to the internet on my main computer (only if I place the modem wire to the internet port I can then access 192.168.1.1, however, I don't get an internet connection). All the TCP/IP 4 / 6 / DNS are set at obtain IP automatically, no password protections. Anyway to solve this? or new router?

My significant other and I were only dating for 4 months when we got pregnant (Yes I was on BC and used it properly but thats beside the point) He asked me to move in and we are slowly updating the house (Which is his, and was his grandparents before that). I grew up in a very clean clutter free house with nice things but only b/c we had only a few things that were nice and not a bunch of old smelly dog hair ridden stuff. Some days are good and some are bad. But I dont feel like I have any control over my own life anymore. I've had a serious problem with my weight for the last year. After grad school I ballooned up 40 pounds, and in the last 8 months have managed to take off a whopping 9 of them. I've tried it all: Weight Watchers, South Beach Diet, calorie restriction, tons of exercise. Nothing is helping. I've settled into a workout routine that I like, but without going crazy on all the specifics I just can't stop eating. And I mean stomach rumbles kind of hungry, not just emotional eating or eating out of boredom. I have a limit of 1600 cals a day based on the exercise I do and half the time my meals barely take the edge off. I eat nutritiously, low fat, good carb, fruits, veggies, no soda. I drink my full 2 liters of water a day. I've tried chewing gum, fiber supplements, you name it. The only thing left that I haven't tried is an appetite suppressant, but I don't want to waste my money on something else that won't work. Can anyone recommend one that actually does what it says, without costing an arm and a leg?

Our router keeps dropping Internet/WiFi connection.?

We have 4 computers, one all-in-one WiFi printer, iPad & an iPod touch. Recently our network connection kept dropping whenever we would try to download large files from the Internet or open large pages. I can't update my laptop's iTunes because part way through it stops and gives me an ip address conflict error. I tried printing something off to day and the printer cut off the WiFi connection midway through the printing job. 2 of the computers are attached to the router via Ethernet & the other two are WiFi. We are running a netgear router. We also can't transfer larger files from one computer of another with out it dropping and giving us an error

How do i know if my mustang has fog light wiring harnesses?

I have a 1994 5 speed V6 mustang as my first car, and a project that I'm fixing up as i finish up high school. I would like to install fog lights in my mustang, and i see the plastic covers that i will pop out to install the lights. I have read that some mustangs came with the wiring harnesses for the fog lights, but just didn't come with them installed from the factory. As of right now i know that i have to buy the switch, fog lights, and relay switch but i need to know if i need to splice them into something or if the wiring is already there, because id like them to run independent from my headlights, so i can switch on and off the fog lights as i wish. Netgear MAC Authentication Question?

Everything was working fine - then this afternoon lost internet and dont know why...I have a HP desktop with XP, Netgear WNDR3300, lost wifi content, but still able to connect to network. Comcast ISP said modem is fine, and when going desktop >ethernet>modem, I can ping and they can see me. I set up the router again, and tried pinging from desktop out ethernet to router to modem and they couldnt see me. I logged into routerlogin.com and after an hour, found that if i switch the MAC Authentication under the "Router MAC Address" from my desktop MAC address to the MAC address of my Iphone - I get internet and again all the wifi works and is very fast on all devices. If I go back to desktop MAC ID, I lose it again. I tried the default option, and the manual one - Is my desktop somehow not being recognized as legit MAC ID? Sorry for the rambling, and appreciate any help!

Should i get a new wireless router?

I got a NETGEAR router that is WGR614 v7. We had it for about 2-3 years and it worked perfectly for the the first 2 years, and at that time I only used it for my wii, then i got a DS and used it for that too. We eventually got a laptop, a PS3, and a 3D Tv that can use a internet connection for browsing and other things. Sometimes when guests come over they bring their PSP's, sometimes phones and use mywireless router. Since then the the wireless router started to not work at times and it messes up our gameplay. Sometimes the router makes things just really slow, and it gets annoying. Sometimes it works fine too. Idk I mean I still like it, but all that stuff happened like frequently, but now it seems okay since I did a system restore on the computer that is connected to the router. So can a WGR614 v7 NETGEAR router hande 5 things(sometimes more) to use its internet connection. Or will getting a new one make internet connection better, cuz I saw some New NETGEAR routers at bestbuy and it runs at GIGABIT speed a couple weeks ago and i was thinking if a new one should be better.

I reset the router, and can browse the web but its unsecure, I need to secure it. After putting 192.168.1.1 then the admin box pops up. I put admin defaut passwords, it doesnt accept it. I also then put a different password I made. It doesnt accept any password. Before I changed the admin password to a diferrent one, it use to work. Could it be a virus? so im out of town and im staying at my cousins house and i brought my xbox. For the first couple of days xbox live was working perfect, but then for some reason it quit working. I did test connection and it said my mtu was not sufficient. So i do what it says and i go to my router settings and it was 1492 mtu. So i tried every thing... i tried 1400 1364 1480 and alot of other ones. The router is right next to the xbox and i even tried connecting straight to the modem and it still didn't work. idk if i connected it wrong but it would still say mtu not sufficient. All the computers in my cousins house connect and work fine... but my xbox isn't. its not the xbox either because i tried it on my other cousins internet and it connected. How can i finally get rid of chronic everyday migraines and neck pain?

Iv had a lot of stress and trauma in my my life, and i have been depressed since i was 11. Although i do have a significantly negative view on the world i've never given up nhope that there is happiness that maybe one day can surround my life. However, all the stress and pain has caused me to experience everyday chronic pain in my neck, back, jaw, and in the form of migraines (which i have had everyday for 3 years believe it or not!!) These problems cause me to have bad visual disturbances, bad concentration, brain fog, and even fuzzy hearing!! In a way I've got used to the pain but I've slowly become less passionate about life, and more miserable. Even worse than this, i can't hold down a job, and have attempted college 3 times!! But either quit because the pain of trying to concentrate is too much or i get dismissed because i can't perform well and im so melancholy. I see a chiropractor twice a week. He told me that it's a nerve condition. Apparently, the stress has become toxic in my system and my joints and muscles have locked up, causing intense nerve irritation. It seems like a good explanation and i do the exercises he tell me too. However, i've been seeing him for 6 months and im still in pain. Becoming more stressed is supposed to make it a lot worse and being positive helps, but how can i?? Its just one big miserable cycle i can't break. I don't even know if what he says is true. Either way i just need help so bad before i give up hope. Please anyone???

In you car, is it bad to turn the a/c compressor on / off frequently because i do that with the defrost?

Ok first, I know it may seem unnecessary to frequently switch the a/c on and off. But I am doing it unintentionally because it rains here a lot. So when it is raining it fogs up on the inside so i switch the defrost on. But i can feel the engine kick which means the compressor is turned on and i can also feel the cold air. The defrost quickly clears the foginess on the inside but then the outside gets messed up and i have to turn my vipers on frequently. So is it bad to turn the a/c on and off frequently just in general. Thanks for the help.

When I try to use my nintendo ds wi-fi, it says to change the security settings on my netgear router to allow all. What is the name of the setting to allow all? Also what type of encryption do I use (ex: WEP)? It keeps asking me for my security pass key on the computer the router is connected to but will not accept it. It says that I must enter a 5-13 digit code even though I already have one that is in the range. Please help.

Braces are coming off, but no retainer. What could happen?

It's finally prom/graduation season and my braces are coming off after a whopping (seemingly forever) three years! My scheduled appointment to remove the braces is this upcoming Tuesday. However, I never received the mold to create the retainer. When I asked my orthodontist why, he replied, "I want them to settle first, so we'll wait a bit" or something to that matter. Thing is, prom (and graduation) is the week after and the whole point of braces is for them not to settle! I don't know if he is waiting a week or something, but I'm worried. This guy has given me so many problems in the past and now that they're coming off, I feel like this is just another. What's the worst that could happen?

Help, forgot my password to my linksys router!!!!?

I reset the router, and can browse the web but its unsecure, I need to secure it. After putting 192.168.1.1 then the admin box pops up. I put admin defaut passwords, it doesnt accept it. I also then put a different password I made. It doesnt accept any password. Before I changed the admin password to a diferrent one, it use to work. Could it be a virus? I know the default is admin, and password is blank. Its not accepting any password. Please help.

Where to find cheap o-rings or a substitute?

I've been looking online for a few 14g o-rings, but cannot find any sites offering them cheaper than 3/4 dollars for 1-4 of them. Seeing as they'd cost a whopping 44 cents to mail, I don't want to pay more than a dollar or two for about 10 of them. Now if this option isn't feasible, does anyone know of a good replacement/substitute for them? My router's wireless is messed up?

In my house I have a main PC and a laptop. The main PC has my Belkin router connected to the modem, then connects back to the PC. Somehow, the wireless on the router is off and I can't connect from my laptop. I can connect on my PC because the ethernet cable is in. Ive recently got a Cisco E4200 router, My ISP is Srilankan Telecom bases through telephone lines, I before had a Prolink router which i connected a RJ 11 cable ( normal telephone cable) to the router to connect to the ISP, The new cisco router has an RJ 45 slot, ive consulted the CISCO support and they told me i had to use a modem to connect to the internet. Is there a way that i could convert the RJ-11 to a RJ-45 using some jack? so that i could directly plug it into the Cisco router?

Why does my wifi keep disconnecting if I move more than 10 metres from the router?

I have a netgear n150 and it is generally quite good but it was a cheap route rand the internet can get slow and drop out up three times daily. The previous router was a netgear dg834b which was extremely reliable and never had any problems with until i made a mistake and screwed it up. I have an acer aspire D255 netbook whih works well with it until i go beyond the 10 metres, and i also have a windows 7 HP desktop which was very reliable with the old router but it tends to get slow and disconnect frequently. My desktop uses a netgear adapter which came with the old router. what can i do? thanks

Ford escort rear window wiper problem?

my rear window wiper doesn't work properly when i turn it on it is very slow and stops on then middle, also when this happens it lights up the rear demister and fog light. if i push the fog light button it makes the wiper move about an inch. ive had a play about with it today by cleaning the contact plates and the earth connections. still no joy. i then unplugged the 3 pin connector by accident forgot what way the wires go on and blown a fuse. i replaced the fuse turned on the ignition and now then bloody wiper wont stop at all lol not Even on the switch. after scratching my head i decided to unplug all the wires from the contact plate on the bottom of the luggage compartment now my fog lights work perfect and so does my demister but no window wiper. so what is the problem?? maybe the relay is had it. could anyone shed some light please.

Feeling trapped by my significant other. What to do?

My significant other and I were only dating for 4 months when we got pregnant (Yes I was on BC and used it properly but thats beside the point) He asked me to move in and we are slowly updating the house (Which is his, and was his grandparents before that). He has two dogs and Im really not a dog person but trying to like them anyway. He treats them like people letting them do pretty much whatever they want and it makes me mad he doesnt want my cat there but I have to deal with his dogs. Also he has 5 piece of crap cars that dont even all work and basically takes up all the garage so my car cant even get in there. AND he wants me to get rid of my mustang for an SUV. I feel like I have to ask him for permission when it comes to anything I want done with the house...and if it has anything to do with the dogs its his way or the highway. I grew up in a very clean clutter free house with nice things but only b/c we had only a few things that were nice and not a bunch of old smelly dog hair ridden stuff. I will admit he is agreeing to let me replace the 38 year old carpet with laminate floors....but big whop. I feel like a guest in the house that is supposed to be mine too. Some days are good and some are bad. But I dont feel like I have any control over my own life anymore. One day I will be fine and in love with him then the next I want to tell him if he wants everything his way him and his dogs can live in that filth he calls a house alone without his kid.

What Do These Symptoms Mean?

For the past few months I been really tired all day everyday no matter if I sleep 8 hrs.or 12 hrs.Throughout the day I get brain fog and find it hard to focus and feel kinda woozy especially when in a store with alot of people and bright lights.I also get out of breath and my heart beats really fast just from everyday stuff like getting up from the couch or walking up the stairs.Also when I check my bp at the store its always really high like 140/100 and my pulse is always 80-100 bpm.but as I sit there for a few minutes everything goes down to normal or sightly above.I am taking a beta blocker and it is not helping at all!!! I been to the ER and they dig a EKG,urine test,blood work and a chest x-ray which didnt show anything at all!! I went to my doctor and he just gave me a anxiety med which makes me more miserable and tired.I also got tested for everything under the sun like lupus,thyroid,diabetes,vitamin deficency ect. I also got a stress test and echocardiogram and halter monitor but that was over 2 years ago.I am only 22 Dont drink and Dont smoke!! I have high cholesterol and high triglycerides but the doctors just told me to take fish oil which has improved my number and I had Vit.D deficency but I took a supplement for 8 weeks and my numbers are normal.I am not depressed but not being able to live a normal life is making my feel down and is stressing me out and causing a bit of anxiety/panic.I also worry too mucha nd I am a bit of a hypocondriac from it all.I also get tons of pressure/tension headaches.I been to a few different doctors and a few different hospitals and I cant seem to get a answers...............PLEASE DONT SAY GO TO THE DOCTOR BECAUSE I BEEN THERE DONE THAT I AM JUST TRYING TO SEE IF ANYONE HAS ANYTHING SIMILAR???

A month ago I cracked my screen of my iPod 4th gen, now, a lot of my friends have cracked screens too because it's so delicate. The difference is, mine was in a case, and I've had it less than 3 months, it dropped less than a meter. Everything still worked including the front and back cameras, up until a week ago where I've been experiencing small glitches, such as the unlock button freezing, the slide to unlock becoming unresponsive, and my wifi choosing when to connect fully and not work, I know my router has nothing to do with it because it works perfectly everyday on my laptop. I went to the genius bar today to ask if they could fix these glitches, and they've said they can't because my screen crack voids the warranty, they said they can only replace, not repair, and for that, it would cost me �126. I am NOT paying that much, it's catch 22 with Apple, because if I went and got my screen repaired elsewhere (because apple don't offer it ANYWAY) they would say that the original state of it has been tampered with, and they would refuse to fix the glitches. Why does world of warcraft need to dowload 8.1 gb in patch?

So I bought the WoW battle chest today under the impression that I needed to just install and play the game. After installing the game and the expansion it then had to update from version 3.0.3 to 4.0.0. Next it had to go from 4.0.0 to 4.0.0.12911. Now its telling me it has to do some sort of Cataclysm patch (regardless of the fact that I don't own Cataclysm) which is a whopping 8.1 gb! Is this normal or can I just play the game. Air Force - Can the PT jacket be left unzipped when worn?

Provided that I'm by myself and not a part of an organized PT in a unit, am I allowed to wear the PT jacket unzipped? I looked at AFI 36-2903 and it clearly stated that it can be zipped or unzipped when worn, but it was dated 2006, which was a whopping 5 years ago. A lot can change to regulations in 5 years, so I was wondering if anyone knows for sure what the rule is. Is college worth the money? I recently sent in my deposit to go to Cornell next year. My parents didn't qualify for financial aid (even though we are not "rolling in it" in any way) so we will be eating the whopping $57,000 a year. They have saved up close to $80,000 and I will be living off campus all four years to save money. Anyway, right now I am enrolled in the engineering school but I am thinking of applying for an internal transfer after my first semester there. I want to transfer to the college of arts and sciences (it is pretty easy to get an internal transfer as long as you have a C or higher in all your classes). My first plan was to major in either mechanical or chemical engineering with a premed track and then go to med school (the engineering was a back up plan and I'm pretty sure I would enjoy studying engineering). Anyway, Cornell engineering is really tough (lots of grad deflation) and I realized that I probably would not be able to get a good enough GPA to go to medical school if I study engineering. Anyway, so I am planning on a major in math with a concentration in physics and computer science. It is still a tough major but from looking at all the median grades (Cornell posts these on the website) it is feasible to achieve a good enough GPA for med school, and this still leaves the door open to go to grad school for engineering if med school doesn't work out. Okay that was long, but is going to college worth the money? I understand why it may not be worth it if you are majoring in say... sociology or creative writing or something like that, but is it worth it for what I am doing? I am nervous about the $228,000 cost. I am doing everything I can to keep the cost down (scholarships, work, ect) but I keep hearing how college is just not worth the money these days. What do you guys think?

Why can't I edit the settings on my router?

So I just got a new FiOS router and everything set up just fine. There's a wee bit of an issue, I can't login to the IP or change the settings. The IP is the default 192.168.1.1 and I can get onto the log in page but it won't let me log in. I set the username and password for it, I've reset the router at least 3 times now. I understand that the extra characters that show up are worst security feature ever and I just ignore it but I type in the password exactly as I typed it when I set it and it tells me that I used the wrong password. If I do get past the dang login, I get a connection time out if I try to change anything, even if it's been less than 30 seconds since I log in. I can't do anything; I can't log in and if I do, it times out before I can change the settings.

Help Buying Competitive Goggles?

I've been a dedicated swimmer for eight years now and have always worn Vanquisher goggles (original and 2.0) from Speedo. Over the years, however, these goggles have fogged more than anyone could image. Recently, I've tried TYR Racer Metalized goggles and they've worked OK. Hopefully, another swimmer can recommend a pair that I could purchase online or at a Metro Swim Shop. Also, I'm a male and the goggles need to be mirrored/metalized because of where I swim. Thanks!

Xbox Live problem please help!!!?

Alright I cant connect to xbox live, when I troubleshoot it, it says that the MTU setting on my router is set at 1364 but my original setting is at 1492 so I went to my router configuration webpage and tried to change the MTU setting to 1364 but it goes back to 1492. If you know what my problem is please dont hesitate to answer, this is seriously pissing me off, Xbox Live worked for a very short time, enough time for me to make a gamer tag and then I went to play a game and it Fu#@%^ up. My router is a Net Comm and I got it from Adam internet for about $50.00

This never happened before. I tried unplugging the router many times and it still hasn't worked. There are times when I do access the shop channel but it doesnt last long and goes back to the error. It takes long to establish the connection when the channel starts loading and keeps going to the error. I dont know what to do. Please help. Thank you.

Why am I getting faster speeds from servers further away from me?

So I was fooling around in the Speed Test app for android. While checking my current speeds from the server in Morristown, TN (the closest to my actual city: Knoxville, TN), it clocked me at about 2.80mbps download/ 0.79 upload. Knowing this wasn't correct, I switched the server in the settings of the app to Nashville, TN. That shot me up to the speed it feels like I'm actually at: 9.98mbps download/ 6.67 upload. However, I switched it to one up in Michigan (just messing around, of course) and got a whopping 14.69mbps dl/ 10.19 up.. Why is it doing this? Is there a way I can actually change my server? I'd like to pull those high speeds. I'm on a MyTouch 4G.

Why is my internet connection slow, modem problems?

I don't understand why interent is so slow. I have a Motorola SB5101 modem, and a Linksys WRT54GS wireless router. I also have a vonage connection. The connection is modem-vonage-router. I know the problem is not my laptop, because i can connect to a neighbor's net and it is much faster. The wireless connection list has my network listed, with access with full bars. So my question is what could be a reason for my internet being so slow? My network is password protected, and it works but very very slowly.

When I got up for school, I was complaining because i felt sick, and my mama never believes me..sooo I always get P-oed. But yesterday morning I completely lost it! she was fussing with me...and she whopped me.. and i said it didn't hurt so she got the brush out and started hitting me with it..that didn't hurt but...It made me feel bad inside, and my hands just started hitting her as natural reflexes! I love my mama so dearly, she always gets me anything I want! She puts a roof over my head and put me in school. My Internet constantly disconnects and reconnects to another network that is not ours, what is the problem?

My Internet is fine at times and then randomly disconnects at other times. I have called my Internet provider and they assure me that it isn't them however I don't see how it is me. My current solution when the Internet goes off is to get up and turn off the router and turn it on again, however sometimes it turns off before you sit down again. When it disconnects it sometimes reconnects to another wifi connection that is not our which we cannot use. Can our Internet WiFis be competing, finally I dont know of this means anything but it sometimes disconnects when other people try to connect to network, please help any ideas are appreciated.

Which mode should I use? Up to 54, 150, or 300 Mbps?

I have a Netgear wnr2000v3 router and it gives me options for these modes: up to 54, 150, and 300 Mbps. My question is which one is best or is there any difference between them. I mostly use the internet on my laptop to watch movies on Netflix, and download small and large files. It is currently set to 54 Mbps because I figured since I am paying for 12 Mbps and my laptop's wireless card only supports up to 54 Mbps there is no need to set it to 150 or higher. Am I correct?

Fast Heart Rate,High Blood Pressure And Fatigue...?

For the past few months I been really tired all day everyday no matter if I sleep 8 hrs.or 12 hrs.Throughout the day I get brain fog and find it hard to focus and feel kinda woozy especially when in a store with alot of people and bright lights.I also get out of breath and my heart beats really fast just from everyday stuff like getting up from the couch or walking up the stairs.Also when I check my bp at the store its always really high like 140/100 and my pulse is always 80-100 bpm.but as I sit there for a few minutes everything goes down to normal or sightly above.I am taking a beta blocker and it is not helping at all!!! I been to the ER and they dig a EKG,urine test,blood work and a chest x-ray which didnt show anything at all!! I went to my doctor and he just gave me a anxiety med which makes me more miserable and tired.I also got tested for everything under the sun like lupus,thyroid,diabetes,vitamin deficency ect. I also got a stress test and echocardiogram and halter monitor but that was over 2 years ago.I am only 22 Dont drink and Dont smoke!! I have high cholesterol and high triglycerides but the doctors just told me to take fish oil which has improved my number and I had Vit.D deficency but I took a supplement for 8 weeks and my numbers are normal.I am not depressed but not being able to live a normal life is making my feel down and is stressing me out and causing a bit of anxiety/panic.I also worry too mucha nd I am a bit of a hypocondriac from it all.I also get tons of pressure/tension headaches.I been to a few different doctors and a few different hospitals and I cant seem to get a answers...............PLEASE DONT SAY GO TO THE DOCTOR BECAUSE I BEEN THERE DONE THAT I AM JUST TRYING TO SEE IF ANYONE HAS ANYTHING SIMILAR???

You would need to tell us an address really close to yours for us to know who provides to your area sadly.. also, you do not need a land line with any internet provider you choose, you can get the internet service without a telephone no problem. My suggestion is to NEVER buy a land line with any company, use something like an Ooma Telo with a faster internet connection for home phone service or simply use a cell phone. If you are able to get Verizon Fios in your area I would recommend that over anything else. Also, if you hit your cap and your internet usage is not that amazing, you might need to add some security to your WiFi devices because someone else may be stealing your internet. Since your cap is merely 150GB per month, I assume you do not have AT&T UVerse which offers much faster speeds; you should try and look that up to see if they offer it in your area as well; all of those plans offer a 250GB cap instead.

Can a DSL modem and wireless router.?

We recently just bought a new laptop so we can have wireless in our house. Before that, we only had a desktop PC that has DSL running for internet through a Westell modem provided by AT&T. We bought a Cisco, Linksys wireless router to provide wireless internet to our laptop for around the house. My question is how does my dektop PC still get DSL running to it if I have to use the wireless router ethernet cable running through the DSL modem? Are the extra ethernet ports on the wireless routerbesides the one labled "internet" supposed to be for me to run the ethernet cable to the desktop to provide DSL? So basically I am asking how do i have DSL and wireless when I have to connect the router to the Westell modem's ethernet port which takes away the port that runs to my desktop to provide DSL?
